General device characteristics
Lock controller Z51/bank is designed to support the entrance door to the ATMs vestibule and operates with an external magnetic card reader or external proximity card reader. Allows to entry to an ATMs room for a person who has a bank card, on condition that at that time there is no other person inside.
The usage of the lock controller:
-protects ATMs vestibule against unauthorized access
-increases the comfort of using an ATM (cash deposit machine)
-increases the safety of using of night safe
With lock controller Z51/bank are supplied two service cards (magnetic or proximity), which allow to open the door to the ATM at any time.

Standard installation
The following items are required with the standard installation:
-lock controller Z51/bank
-power supply with battery backup in case of failure
-magnetic stripe card reader MR01
-electromagnetic lock
-open door sensor
The optional items:
-exit button
-ATM's busy indicator
-presence detector (active mat or infrared sensor)
-proximity card reader (eg MM-R50)

How lock controller Z51/bank works
With the standard installation the lock controller Z51/bank works as follows:
-The customer inserts the card into the reader (eg MR01) or moves closer to contactless cards reader (if mounted). If the card is authorized to open the door the device unlocks the door.
-The customer opens the door. At that moment the ATM door lock is activated for time saved as a time "lock after entrance". "ATM busy" indicator is activated (if provided).
-The customer enters and closes the door. From now on, it is not possible to open the ATM vestibule door from outside.
-After the operation completes client comes out (by running door opening sensor ). Regardless of whether he opened the door by pressing the exit button or he opened the door using door handle from the inside, at that moment is removed the lock to access to the ATM.
-After closing the door, the lock controller is ready to accept the next client.

Additional remarks:
-If the client will be for a long time in the ATM room (longer than programmed the locking time after the entry), although he (or she) is still inside the room, the lock to access to the ATM is removed.
-If you have installed in the ATM room an active mat (or other presence detector) then upon entry on the mat an additional lock is started. The ATM door will be unlocked when two programmed lock times will be completed.
